Dr. Pesun earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) and Bachelor of Science in Dentistry from the University of Manitoba. She then completed a two-year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Connecticut where she is now serving as an Assistant Professor.
Her clinical and academic interests focus on digital dentistry and comprehensive restorative care. She has presented research on dental materials and digital workflows at national and international meetings, including the International Association of Dental Research and the American College of Prosthodontics. Her contributions have been recognized with honors such as the Canadian Dental Association Student Leadership Award and Western Canada Dental Society Award.
Dr. Pesun is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry as well as numerous other professional organizations. She is passionate about mentorship, advancing patient care through technology, and contributing to dental education. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and traveling.
Just had my first dental exam with Dr. Natalie Pesun. She was beyond lovely. Such wonderful bedside manner, very knowledgeable and asked thoughtful questions to get to know me and my history with past dental visits. The hygienist was amazing too! Kept me feeling very calm and comfortable. Looking forward to going back :)
