Once the enamel is treated and the area is disinfected, it will be replaced with the composite material and set with a special light. Our dental team will polish the filling so it matches your other teeth.
How long does it take to recover from dental fillings?
You should be able to resume your normal day after your tooth-colored filling is complete, but you may have some sensitivity to hot and cold temperatures for 1 – 3 days. You may use over-the-counter pain medicine to treat discomfort; however, you shouldn't have any major issues. If, after a few days, the filling seems high or uneven, please get in touch with us.
