Our team is pleased to offer CEREC technology for one-visit restorations. What should you expect from CEREC treatment?
A CEREC treatment will start with an appointment where our dental team can develop your unique treatment plan. The process will require an electronic scan of your mouth. The scan will allow our dental team to manufacture your restoration. From that point, your restoration will be sent to the CEREC machine to get created. The time required to make your restoration will depend on its dimensions. When the restoration is ready, our dental team will finish and polish the item before putting it in place. We may modify the restoration so it's comfortable and matches your natural enamel.
What is recovery from same-day restorations like?
After your restoration is made, you must keep a great home dental hygiene routine. You also need to schedule yearly dental exams and twice-yearly cleanings at Hope Family Dentistry in Simsbury, CT. Our dental team will check your CEREC restoration at every appointment and make any necessary repairs or alterations to help keep your smile healthy.
